Manchester Trip!!!

As most of you have known, I flew to Manchester over the last weekend to watch the match between Mancheter United and Porstmouth LIVE!

Here are some of the pictures that I have taken with my N70 and Robin and Linus' cool cameras! Enjoy folks :)

The match itself!

Check out how the policemen ride the horses for crowd control.

The players warming up.

Fred the Red RaRa-ing the crowd.

Henrik Larsson, Giggs taking corner, Ole going into spaces, Rooney warming up right in front of me! Scholesy and Evra building up the defensive wall. Kusczcak putting up a good performance in goal. Read the final score 2-1, with a wonder chip shot goal by Rooney over Calamity James!

Check out my first Man Utd Jersey - ala new man utd 'signing' photo! My seat number AA46 - Yes! It's first row seat. Me and Robin, the die-hard fans! S127 - the gate we entered into the stadium.

Yes! We went back to Manchester on Monday to visit Old Trafford and sign up for the stadium tour. Fulfilled my wish to seat on the Man Utd Sub Bench! Superb seats I can tell you. I really don't mind being a Subs in this stadium manz.

Some of the pictures that I've taken in the Museum. Check out all the trophies and write-ups on Man Utd Legends =)

Some other photos that we've taken in Manchester and Leeds. Namely, the Manchester Arnadae - a shopping centre, Manchester Arts Museum, St. Peters Square and Manchester City Stadium. Of course, and some other buildings that I cannot identify!!!

I must say the trip was worth the money and energy spent. Some parts of the trip made my day, others ... better not say. Here are some of the pictures to tell the thousand words for me - The 7 pounds Beef Curry Rice from the Stansted Airport. RyanAir, budget airline that made the trip a lot cheaper! The Train seats at the bottom centre of the collage that made my journey back a lot more comfortable. The KIASU behaviour of Europeans that made me realised that Sinaporeans are just normal. The National Express Bus that broken down half way through my night trip back to Stansted from Leeds...and of course not to forget how the driver was not helpful at all in attending to our worries!!! The Beautful night scene of Leeds, a nice place for all to shop. And last but not least, the not very useful sign of asking people not to litter...Duh...

I think sometimes it's hard for Singaporeans not to compare and criticize about other countries when they travel. I truly understand why there is such criticism coming from our countrymen. We, our country has set a good benchmark and put us in such comfort zone of high security that endanger us when we go to other countries which are not quite up to mark. But having said that, I totally enjoyed the trip and I kinda missed Sweden - Linköping for the snow and the harsh fact that it's a far more safer place to be in.
